I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Andela (Bengaluru) in Apr 2024
Interview
Involves 2 major steps.
1. Technical evaluation in the platform -- involves MCQ questions and 1.30hrs react coding question
2. F2F video interview -- This is where it was quite disappointing. The interviewer seemed least interested in listening to the answers and was least interactive, felt like I was just talking to an AI robot which is waiting for the right answers. The interviewer even dozed off in between. And he himself had a couple of wrong answers, which I had answered correctly and he had a wrong answer. And an unnecessary additional react coding round, which I felt was an overkill, since we had already completed 1.30 hours of react coding previously. And even if you fail 2 test cases out of 10, you will be rejected
