I applied for this job and didn’t hear anything for about 2 weeks. Then I was called in for an interview. I interviewed with three people. Two were department heads and the other was the director of the call center. The interview lasted about 45 minutes and went very well. Another two and a half weeks went by so I thought I didn’t get the job. I was offered the position but 20k lower than I had asked for during my interview and 10k below standard pay for this job. On top of that you are in the union which is a two hundred dollar initiation fee and the dues are about 90 a check. I counter offered but they were firm on the compensation. I turned this job down. I was very disappointed with how long it took them to decide and disappointed with the compensation. Between what they offered me and the union dues this job pays less than 40k per year.
