the interview process was cool I guess. Chilling right now at the park/backyard whats up. Oh MY GOD when can I use this platform. Are you serious? The process was super cool. Thanks.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ample Hills Creamery in Sept 2022
Interview
I went through an extensive, multi-step interview process with Ample Hills that included an initial phone interview, a conversation with the person previously in the role, an in-person interview with the Director of Operations, and a follow-up coffee meeting with the COO.
While the first few conversations were engaging and positive, I received vague and coded feedback after the third round. I was told by HR that although I was liked, the Director didn’t feel I was "aggressive enough" — a concerning piece of feedback, especially when used against women or people of color. Despite that, I was invited to re-engage in the process, which I did, only to be ghosted entirely afterward.
It’s incredibly disheartening to go through an extensive process, invest time and energy, and not receive a final response — especially after being told I was a strong candidate. Professionalism goes both ways. Companies should be accountable for how they treat people, especially during the hiring process.
To anyone applying — know your worth. And to Ample Hills — I hope future candidates are treated with more transparency and respect.

Interview
It was simple and easy. The hiring manager was nice and laid out the role in a transparent way. Did a great job of setting up the proper expectations for the job. Too bad it’s closed.
