I received a call from HR asking me if I had about 5 minutes to talk, within those 5 minutes I was furious! The person kept asking me questions that they could have found just by looking at my resume, then told me my desired salary was too high and if I were to look anywhere else they would offer me a lot lower. I politely told this person that’s not true starting in other companies they actually do offer a bit more. From the beginning of the phone call I tried to create a friendly conversation the person wasn’t having it. Needless to say I will never get those 5 minutes back. The person was very rude and had a snobby attitude. How could someone work in HR and act like that.
