Initially sent me to the wrong address. I met higher management, did not seem interested in introducing themselves. As for interview, Good questions, every one was professional afterwards. Wouldn’t want to work here

Interview
Simple. Be yourself, show that you have good customer service skills. Must be outgoing and willing to admit when you do something wrong. It’s a learning process being a hostess and a fast-paced environment, so be prepared and willing to learn.

Interview
The first interview was very good, it was basically a conversation about the company and what the job would entail. The first manager who interviewed me was very nice. I was called back for a second interview on the same day. Started the second interview with a different manager this time. The first thing that was brought up to me was about how my current day job was making it harder for them to consider me. Very weird to bring up in the beginning of an interview but then he told me after speaking to me about it for basically 5 minutes that I shouldn’t be discouraged. Then he left me for the first time during the interview to berate one of the hostesses, not sure for what. When he comes back he asks me some basic questions, and a couple weird ones. I was then told I was hired, went to his office to start onboarding. He left me 3 times alone in the onboarding interview with absolutely nothing to do. Just in the office staring at walls. When I checked my life360 app I realized I had been there for over and hr and a half. Should’ve left but didn’t exactly know how to leave the building because he ran to his office while i trailed behind him which I find completely rude. He also complained about working in customer service, told me he would call me the next morning to help me set up my apps but instead called me an hr before he wanted me to come in, then told me he would put up a schedule same day which he never did. Ended up putting up the schedule for me 2days without as much as a call or text and when I called him he then said over the phone “hey but didn’t i text you yesterday asking if you could come in at 4 today?” Like no sir, I had been checking my app constantly and if I didn’t notice you put up my schedule 2 hrs before you needed me to come instead of the 2 days prior I was told, then we would not be having this conversation. Ridiculously unorganized manager. Best part, he told me that the last hostess quit because she got yelled at by a manager, and he absolutely thought it was okay, even bragged about it! Run far away from American Social in Los Olas. Ridiculous.
