I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at American Insurance Association
Interview
After the initial reference verification, I was called for an technical interview. There was an interview panel of 3 persons with 2 of them asking questions and checking on the experience.
They explained on what is needed of the position they were offering and I was sure of meeting them.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Insurance Association (Washington, DC) in Jun 2013
Interview
The American Insurance Association is a trade organization that boasts hundreds of insurance companies as its clientele. While the position described significant research on multi-jurisdictional statutory compliance, the interview gave me the impression that the position may have been more mundane than I had thought. This office seems to be a casual work environment that is well suited for fresh law graduates that are in search of their first job, but one that was difficult for an applicant with legal experience to demonstrate interest in when the interviewer repeatedly defended the position as being "not as boring as it sounds."

Question 1
The most difficult part of the interview was showing interest in a position that the interviewer herself seemed to think was quite "boring."

Interview
First had to fill out application forms with the usual information. Name, previous employers, universities attended.Took about 20 min to fill everything out. Then two interviews with two managers. They were very friendly. We talked about me, the job, and a bit about them. Before I knew it, the interview was over.
