I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Little Rock, AR) in Oct 2017
Interview
Went into the interview and the first thing they did was group all 8 or 9 of us into the meeting area of the office. The boss of the office come in and gave us about a 30-35 minute spill about the company and how things worked around the office. Told about the background, how the pay scale works a little bit (commission only btw) and then after he was done talking one of the managers talked to us individually. I was the first to be drawn back and she was extremely friendly. I was only with her for about 4-5 minutes. Maybe. She asked me about myself and about the presentation. And that was basically it. They fail to mention during the presentation that it is strictly commission based only until they bring you in to tell you that you have the job.
The interview went well, I'm just looking for insight on what I'll be walking into starting this job. I had to add a review to be able to see others reviews, I will update as soon as I start.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Process was disjointed and inconclusive. Zoom - 3 total. 1st- basic meet-greet. 2nd- a company promo video you watch alone mostly about an annual convention in a tropical location: nothing specific about the job. 3rd- "Host is in another meeting," waited 20 mins and left, so it never happened.

Question 1
There wasn't a real interview. Never got to find out about the agency or the actual position. If it's that disorganized and disrespectful from the get-go, I want nothing to do with it.
