I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Heart Association in Mar 2022
Interview
It was a fourth interview process overall that took roughly a month from start to an offer. After each step below there was typically 1-5 days until contact about the next step in the process. The recruiter was wonderful and kept me in the loop throughout.
1st "interview"- Video response system. You are asked pre-recorded questions. You have a couple chances to record each of your video answers. The questions are pretty standard interview questions and it took roughly 30 minutes to complete. After this interview I was not asked any of the predictable interview questions, they were mostly situational and related to my specific experience/resume.
2nd- This video interview was with the person who will manage me. There were a lot of questions about my resume/experience and how it relates to the position.
3rd- This interview was with the Executive Director, the person who manages my manager. She asked me additional questions about my resume and experience and described the position in more detail.
4th/Final Interview- This was with two SVPs who asked me more specific examples of my experience and how it relates to this role.
I wouldn't consider any of the above interviews easy, or overtly challenging. They were right in the middle, and all interviewers in the process were polite, friendly, and informative.
The interview process was professional, structured, and clear. Communication was timely. Questions were fair and relevant. Although I didn’t get the position, it was a valuable and respectful experience overall.

A few interviews took place to make sure you are a good fit for the position and with the team. It was a mix of virtual and in-person interviews and everyone was nice and welcoming at each interview!
