I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2024
Interview
HR round was a bit vulgar, they asked unnecessary follow-up questions on why I left my previous workplace. I was confused as I expected them to focus on my skills, the projects I worked on, interests, etc.
First round and then final round.

Question 1
First round interview was behavioral/situational but they were directly reading off a paper and that seemed dull and robotic—no intention to build rapport. Also there was a proofing case.
The Interview lasted for about an hour and the hiring manager was friendly, I was asked general behavioral questions, product analysis and data analysis questions. Two SQL questions. Resume review and questions from skills

Interview
Easy and resume based. Friendly interviewer. Do you homework about the company before. Be thorough with your resume and experience. It will be more like a conversation trying to gauge your skills.
