The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters in Sept 2009
Interview
I walked into the store and asked the manager if they were hiring. She gave me a small interview, and then gave me an interest card to fill out. A week later, I received a phone call asking if I would be able to come in for an interview later that day for a 10-15 minute interview. The interview was very casual. They did not ask "challenging" questions, just your basic "why do you want to work here?" and "are you a hard worker?" etc.
Interview questions [1]

I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Columbia, MD)
Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
