I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Oakville, ON) in Nov 2011
Interview
They will ask you your skills on working with other people, on a team, a time where you failed to meet a goal or deadline, and they will also ask you to go into the store and pick out an outfit that you'd suggest to a 17 year old guy (that's how my interview went). Just be sure to be friendly, EYE CONTACT, able to sell yourself (while working it'll be the product) and be yourself because that's pretty much what the job entitles you to be.

Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
