I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Cancer Society (Austin, TX)
Interview
Took approximately two weeks, and was called into to meet with a supervisor. They first have you sit with a call take for about 30 minutes to get a feel of what type of calls you will be taking. They then take you into an office for one on one.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the hardest decision you've had to make in a prior position?
Asked about how my prior experience working from home was relevant and would help me in this job. Extensive questions about daily tasks and making sure I am computer savvy.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Cancer Society (Honolulu, HI) in Apr 2024
Interview
It was pretty easy. I guess you just need to be lucky and land an interview. I think there was at least two interviews. So good luck! it wasnt bad at all.
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Cancer Society (Saint Augustine, FL)
Interview
Received a message saying “next steps, congratulations and we like to move to the next step, assessment”. Took the confusing timed assessment and within 24 hours BEFORE an interview got another message saying “we have decided to pursue other candidates”. Pretty pathetic an organization would waste my valuable time and make a quick judgment in the helping field with this type of interview setup. Beware to others. Not professional. They missed out on a good professional but I am glad I found this out early about this type of organization.
