      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2014

      Interview

Applied for the position online and one week later, I was asked to complete an Online Application Form. The next day, I received a call from the talent/recruitment center inviting me for an interview at HQ for the very next day. There were 8 other individuals there and it was a panel interview. We were all asked the same 5 questions. The interviewers (Supervisor and Manager both with tenure) were very laid back and easy going. After answering the questions, we had 25 minutes to a take a computer test testing our knowledge of Word and Excel based on 8 questions. After that, we were shown around our working area (if hired). We were told that they were hiring 28 people and we should hear from the talent/recruitment center from here after. This was 5 days ago (including the weekend), so I am anxiously awaiting a phone call.

      Question 1

The questions were fairly easy. Just be honest and do not rush.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at American Airlines (Fort Worth, TX) in Nov 2015

      Interview

They picked 6 candidates out of 2500 applications. 6 of us sat together and 2 leaders of the department started introducing himself and the department. Then they asked us 5 questions and took notes by the order of people who answered. After that one of them described to us what it has been like to work at AA. At last we were asked to do a computer test which includes 8 questions the answers to which we need to find within AAdvantage section on AA website in 25 minutes and type down answers to words or excel according to different questions.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. What does AAdvantage team's operation system impress you the most? And what makes you think you are a fit for this job? 2. Tell us one more thing about yourself that's not on your resume to help us get to know you better. 3. Give us one example when you reached beyond and solved problem. 4. What are your expectations for working here? 5. Persuade us to hire you.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines

      Interview

Interviewed on Jan. 20, 2015 it was a panel interview. The questions were pretty average as group interviews go, there was also a short computer assessment. The group consisted of about 10 candidates, a tour of the call center took place. The interviewers stated that we would hear back from them soon. American Airlines seems to be a great company to work for, the benefits and salary seem about average for an entry level position.
