Interview
I interviewed in January of 2014. The process is exactly as described and it's actually a fun day! Unfortunately for me, I wasn't hired. And I have to admit that, without sounding self-absorbed, I was surprised. I was educated, confident, professional, attractive and well dressed. I felt like I hit a home run on every question asked. Even those interviewing with me complimented me on my answers. I felt really good when I left and wouldn't have changed a single answer. Three days later I got a rejection email. Here's my take: They're looking for young (I'm over 40), unattached people (I was the only person in my class that was married) who are desperate to be a flight attendant (I wasn't - I like flying and people and thought I could bring a more mature yet friendly personality to an industry in desperate need of happy people). In retrospect, it's entirely possible that I was only called to Dallas to fill an age quota so as to not appear biased in favor of younger candidates.
If you don't get hired, don't take it personally. Chances are you were overqualified for the job anyway.
