I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX)
Interview
I applied online the first of October. About a week later, I was asked to do a video interview. After the video interview, I was asked to fill out more information. Then a recruiter called me about 3 days after that to ask me to fly to Dallas for a F2F. Monday, Oct. 28th, I flew to Dallas for my interview. It was an AMAZING experience. It started with a group activity, then the group interviews. Afterward, we met back in the "homeroom" and watched a presentation of the life of a FA. Then we were called one by one. Either they walk you out, or they take you in a room where you get finger printed, complete a reach test an then have a one on one interview. The one on one were typical interview questions and was pretty laid back. I really loved every second. The next day I received an email asking to fill out DOT paper work. I filled it out and faxed it yesterday. Now I wait. Regardless of what happens, the experience was amazing. The people I met were so nice and I had a great time. Advice: smile, be yourself. If you are not a smiley happy person, this is not the job for you.
