      Senior Manager Interview

      14 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Amae Health

      Interview

Disorganized and overall unprofessional process. The advertised job did not accurately reflect the expectations of the role, as it appears they are primarily seeking candidates within their local market as hybrid remote while continuing to interview individuals outside of that geographic area, ultimately wasting candidates’ time. There were also multiple inconsistencies throughout the process, including unclear communication and misalignment regarding role expectations. In addition, the interview approach relied heavily on unrelated situational questions that did little to assess relevant skills, leadership capability, or operational expertise, and instead seemed focused on storytelling ability. Although onboarding a storyteller aligns with poor culture so “no thank you”. Overall, the recruiting process felt outdated, poorly coordinated, and not reflective of professional candidate experience. I would have declined an offer anyway. So thank you for the favor.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Unrelated situational questions that don’t actually showcase relevant skills or competencies — they mainly demonstrate whether someone is a polished storyteller. It feels like an outdated interview approach that often overlooks operational capability, strategic thinking, and real-world performance.
