I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AmTrust (Cleveland, OH) in May 2015
Interview
there is a phone prescreen then an in-person interview. In person interview has situation based questions and they want to know if you are an outgoing and friendly personality. The management wants to determine if you are coachable and how well you fit in the overall culture of the organization. My manager was great and very personable. Overall it is a great experience
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at AmTrust (Cleveland, OH) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied for the position on Halloween. I was contacted for a phone interview over a month later. I had ta phone interviews, with HR and the next day was contacted to come in for an in-person interview. That interview happened right before Christmas. I
was advised then that the next round of interviews wouldn't be until late January/Early February, and that was accurate. I came in early February for the second interview and had been assigned a 'homework' assignment to bring in.
Later that week I was given a job offer and accepted it the next day. I started two weeks later.
So, roughly overall the process took around 3 - 4 months.
Others who started around my time had vastly different experiences, most having the whole process done in under a month.

Question 1
They kept wanting to know what kind of research I could do with no budget (that was a red flag but I really wanted out of where I was currently).

Interview
The process included a phone screen with the Recruiter first. Then I participated in three on-site interviews with various members of the department's leadership team and hiring manager. I then received a verbal offer, followed by a written offer.
