I interviewed at Altron Automation (Hudsonville, MI)
Interview
Wasn’t much to speak of, got a call from HR, a brief interview that seemed to gauge if my interest in the company was genuine, I passed that one. Then a teams meeting with the CE manager and the HR guy, the HR guy did 90% of the talking and it was a super easy interview “tell us about you experience”. Then an in person that was essentially the same.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Altron Automation (Hudsonville, MI)
Interview
The interviewing process here was relatively straightforward. I was given a tour of the plant and was shown a variety of the equipment that the company builds. I was given an opportunity to guesstimate the number of hours required to design one of the machines and surprisingly came very close to the actual quoted budget.
The actual interview itself was no more difficult or less difficult than any of the other interviews I’ve had in previous opportunities. I feel that they are trying to find people who are going to fit well with the culture that they are trying to foster within the company and that these hires will mesh well with the existing teams.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Altron Automation (Hudsonville, MI) in Aug 2019
Interview
It was a very short process to fill out a four question questionnaire and never hear from them again. It was obviously a filter questionnaire to eliminate candidates that did not fit their model or budget.
