3 step process. Fill out questionnaire online. Phone interview with HR person. In person interview with 2 or more managers. They didn't know what the pay would be when I asked in the interview. Pay scale ended up much less than discussed. The also did not mention a layoff. Both would have helped me decide between this job and another job offer.
