      Marketing Interview

      15 Feb 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Liverpool, England
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Alpha Innova (Liverpool, England) in Jun 2016

      Interview

Worst interview ever. Would never recommend anyone to even attempt an interview with this company. They are scammers and want you under their umbrella of employees to bring in money for them, without actually guaranteeing their employees a wage. Some days you might earn £10, other days you may earn nothing. This was only discussed after being offered the role and was not previously mentioned during the interview. Interviews are long and tedious, and dont require any skill whatsoever other than being able to haggle with people in the street.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Cardiff, Wales
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Alpha Innova (Cardiff, Wales) in Aug 2017

      Interview

It was meant to be at 3.30pm I arrived late due to childcare at 4.40pm promptly contacting them of this. Yet I wasn't seen until 4.45pm! I met Jamiesh who seemed approachable and pleasant enough, yet I had the impression that he was looking for a certain type of person for the role. I felt that they needed to meet a certain quota for interviewing candidates from different backgrounds yet only very few were considered suitable for the job. He asked me what I would bring to the role..yet he did not tell me anything about the actual role itself and what the company expect from me if I was successful at interview stage, he also gave me no oppertunity to ask any questions(I think this is vital in any interview). It lasted around 8 mins if that! This is the second time I have gone for interview in the same place..the other interview was with GB marketing who interview with two candidates at the same time, by far the strangest interview I have attended! Don't waste your valuable time..may appeal more to students not professionals. Awful place to work in my opinion. Some advice if an interviewee is not successful maybe it would be more courteous to contact via a text message to confirm this rather than only contact successful candidates, it takes seconds to send a person a text message.
