Alpha Consulting interview questions

Recruiter set up two different times and did not show up for either call. Very unprofessional and shows they do not value people's time. They could at least let people know they will be running late or that they need to reschedule beforehand.

Contacted by recruiter by email. I sent over my resume and was submitted to client. Then nothing. No follow-up and didn't respond to emails requesting an update. About three weeks later, I received a client interview request. Upon scheduling the interview, Aplha contacted my references. I explicitly stated references were only to be contact upon a pending offer. Interviewed with client and attempted to follow up afterwards and never heard from Alpha again. Did the client fill the position? Cancel it? Very unprofessional of Alpha not to follow up with their applicants.
