I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ally Financial
Interview
Started off fairly standard with a quick recruiter call then emailing to schedule interviews. They needed 3 30 minute interviews which went well and included a few behavioral questions along with discussions about what to expect at Ally. Spoke next steps with a few of the interviewers and was under the impression an offer would be made.
I followed up via email to the hiring manager, then received invites to do the same round of interviews. Somehow they didn’t realize I had already been interviewed and were duplicating the process. After that was straightened out, I followed up and was ghosted. I know it’s rare to get feedback, but I would have expected a definitive answer after going through multiple interviews.

Question 1
Tell me how you have used data analytics in your current role.
In a word - unorganized.
The people were very nice and easy to talk with but the process was incredibly unorganized as illustrated below.
Recruiter A called in the middle of the day for an unscheduled interview. Stated she would provide me an interview packet and her contact information following the call - she did not.
Days later I received an automatic email stating I was selected for the next phase and to contact Recruiter B and C with availability for follow up interviews - I did but they did not respond
Days later Recruiter A texted me to inform me I had made it to the next round and asked for a 30 interview window with the manager - I told her the same time slots I told Recruiter B and C.
Recruiter A then stated she needed 2 hours for interviews instead of the 30 minutes.
2 weeks after interviewing with 4 other individuals I had not received any communication and followed up with Recruiter A.
After an additional 2 weeks, Recruiter A has not responded.
My experience is likely isolated, however still disappointing given the strong reputation Ally has built over the years.
