I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Allied Universal
Interview
The interview took place at a local job center and took no more than 10 minutes. The person interviewing me told me the main purpose of the interviews was to make sure that those applying could actually read, write, and speak good enough English. The regional manager just talked to me about my life for a little bit of time and after a couple laughs I had the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allied Universal
Interview
After submitting my application, I received an e-mail with instructions to complete a one-way video interview. A few days after this was completed, I received a phone call from the Account Manager for the location to schedule an in-person interview. During the in-person interview itself, I was asked several questions to determine any existing qualifications, prior experience, and understanding of the job I was applying for, along with schedule preferences. Once the interview was completed, I was given an offer shortly after and sent to the nearest branch office to complete onboarding and guard certification.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked if I possessed an active CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
Pretty standard interview questions. Made sure you were a fit. They wanted to make sure you could work certain schedules and see how flexible you could be, what you were looking for in terms of compensation.
