Applied for the job on LinkedIn. Some weeks after a recruiter reached out to me and said they were interested in a first interview. I answered within hours of receiving the email, and then didn’t hear anything for weeks. Until suddenly she wrote again asking if I would take a phone interview two days later. I answered promptly and provided available hours and a phone number. Then the day for the initial interview came. I stayed by the phone but she never called. Didn’t email to say she couldn’t make it. Just silence. Then a week later the recruiter wrote saying they were proceeding with other candidates. No problem from my side, but please don’t waste people’s time saying you will call and then don’t. It gave me a very unprofessional feeling of the company and I’m not sure I’ll apply to jobs here in the future.
