I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Alinta Energy (Perth, Western Australia) in Feb 2025
Interview
Very nice and constructive. Scenario based question. Very supportive environment. They encourage to share your past expereice. And also gives opportunity for you to ask questions. I had 2 interviews and both went very well they support during the proces.

Interview
Applied online, HR screened over phone and had the first interview with HM and another manager of the same level. The role was re-advertised about 2 weeks later and then HR called me to reject and offered feedback.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Questions were very technical comparing to all other interviews I’ve done. Questions were asked in the format of closed book exams and there were a lot of follow up questions after my response.
HM also asked for questions you would generally not expect in an interview for compliance professionals to test analytical mindset (such as how many gas stations are there in [insert any city]?)
The HR contact said the role was very focused on one thing but the HM asked lots of questions about another, so do be aware when you are preparing.
The HM thought my salary expectations was too high for my years of experience. My current role has the same salary band in a similar industry, which tells me they pay below market.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alinta Energy (Melbourne) in Nov 2024
Interview
Pretty straightforward, went from online application to in person interview with the Data Science lead. There was only one interviewer and was a pretty quick interview with mostly behavioural questions
