I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Alibaba Group (Hangzhou, Zhejiang) in Oct 2014
Interview
serval phases, each phase, there will be a man or woman talking with you. Some will focus on what you currently do. Some will focus on what they interest. When he or she gives you a positive comment, you can go to the next phase. But you will not know how they judge you.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Alibaba Group (Madrid) in Oct 2022
Interview
I had three interviews. Everything was going well according to the recruiter. In my fourth and final interview, the interviewer was complaining and asking questions in a very rude mode. He turned off the camera because he was “doing something else” and after he left the meeting.
I’ve never got feedback from the recruiter or the interviewer.
I spent 5 hours interviewing with them without getting any feedback.

Question 1
In my final interview they asked questions like
How much I was making in my actual company
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Alibaba Group in May 2020
Interview
Submitted CV online. Organised a 1-2-1 interview with the hiring manager straight away.
Interviewer canceled his interview on the minute it was supposed to start.
The next week we had the interview, it was very generic and mostly on behavioural questions. Hard to understand at times given strong connection lag with China and accent.
Absolute red flag during the interview is that I was asked for my age half way through.
Received an automated email that they would move forward with other candidates, and the email mentioned a different role and location for what I was interviewing for. Very disconnected.
The tools for the interview are Alibaba tech, good luck installing and navigating the half Chinese half English menus.
