I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Alec (Dubai) in Oct 2016
Interview
It was very comprehensive but the interview process seemed more like a friendly conversation it helped relieve the pressure. Thank God I was able to answer their questions and I was given a chance to ask questions as well.
Always be courteous, thank them whenever you get invited for an interview. And thank them again after you attended the interview, that they gave you the time/opportunity to be selected for the post.
I wasn't selected for the post but I have no regrets. I did not apply for the job, they found my profile in one of the job posting sites and I appreciate them taking interest and contacted me. The day after the interview with Alec, I also got another interview invite (which I also did not apply for, but through a referral) from a renewable energy company where I am currently working at right now :)
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
There did have lots of questions, one of them if you know anything about their co. etc.
At the end of the interview they asked if I have questions which I did. Don't be afraid to ask questions instead of wondering / guessing once you leave the room.

Interview
This happened a long time ago, back in 2016, but I thought I’d share it. It was one of the best interviews I’ve ever had. The recruiter and I both had backgrounds in oil and gas, which served as a great icebreaker.
The entire interview felt like a normal, light conversation; it started and ended on a positive note. Having an HR background was a big advantage since it helped me understand the interview flow, anticipate the questions, and prepare my answers effectively.
However, I had a hunch that the role was meant to replace an employee who had been there for 10 years. I assumed this person had likely recommended a successor, making the candidate vetting process more of a formality.

Question 1
Tip: Being able to answer their questions effectively is important, but it’s equally impressive if you have questions for them too. An interview shouldn’t be a one-way conversation. Recruiters are more impressed if you demonstrate knowledge about their company and its latest news. During my interview, I congratulated them on a recent milestone achievement their company had reached, and they were pleasantly surprised by my awareness.
