The interview was almost perfunctory, and the interviewers seemed ill-prepared.
The Alcoa building is made of aluminum and well-designed. I wish that I could say the same thing about the company's hiring processes, which were lacking in guidance and seemed haphazard at times. Be more prepared if someone is taking the time to meet you for a position.
Phone screening, in person interview, very laid back and low pressure. Interviewer was very respectful and nice and gave me time to think through each question. Overall positive experience and would reccomend to a friend.
Stay clear or continue to interview if you receive an offer from them. My internship offer was rescinded late into the internship recruiting period leaving me with no offer for that summer.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Alcoa (Cleveland, OH) in Jan 2019
Interview
Smooth - started online, followed by two phone interviews and final in person interview. In person part of the interview was rather disorganized and didn't provide transportation (in the winter, with lots of snow) which was strange.
