The interview process was really friendly and welcoming. Several people of the team interviewed me individually and took me around the plant afterwards. I got the final decision not long after the interview.

Interview
This is an extremely long process that follow the typical interview process: HR, technical interviews, team interviews, etc. They ask you to give a 20 min technical presentation. Beware: they are not really interested in hiring you. They just want to pick your brain and gain information. Do not bother to interview. This company uses questionable tactics to gain commercial advantage. At the end of the long interview process, they just simply tell you they are not going to hire you, as if nothing.

Attended the SWE Conference and talked to a representative from Albemarle for available positions. She follow up with me after two weeks for an initial phone screening with the hiring manager for a R&D Engineer position at Baton Rouge, LA.
