I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2023
Interview
After I submitted my application, I was invited to complete the online questionnaire which involved scenario and personality questions. You received a link to a video recording (virtual interview) after which involved recording yourself answering a number of other scenario questions. After my video interview was evaluated, I was invited to the face to face interviews in Seattle, WA. It was a day-long interview event that was very welcoming and informal. First round was individual interviews, second was group interviews and we finished with a last round of individual interviews. After, you were told if you received a conditional job offer (CJO) or thanks but no thanks (TBNT).
In person at Alaska Airlines office.

Ask questions and stand out
I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
