I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I applied on October 29th 2018
Phone interview scheduled for January 28th and was asked to come out for an in person interview on the 5th of Feburary.
The F2F was amazing, I had been to a F2F with united previously and the feel was completely different. They start with an overview of the company, then comes a group activity. After that there are a few current flight attendants to answer any questions that you may have while they pull a few people in for one on one interviews. If you do well in that one then they call you for a 2nd one on one interview with a different recruiter. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, felt like a true family!
I was offered a CJO on the spot and did my background check and drug testing at the same time.
I start training in April!!!

I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
