I recently went through the interview process at Airship for a role and I really enjoyed meeting the team.
That said, I wanted to share some feedback on my experience. While I understand that scheduling conflicts happen, three out of my four interviews were rescheduled, one on the same day without notice or acknowledgment, just a new calendar invite.
Two interviews also had inactive Zoom links, causing further delays. More than anything, the lack of communication made the process feel unorganized and, at times, disrespectful of my time.
I completed four interviews, including a panel where I was asked to evaluate multiple Excel files and set up a campaign, something I put a lot of time and effort into. I never heard from them again, despite following up twice.
I completely understand if the team was still deciding or if this is a rolling process, but clearer communication on timelines would go a long way, especially for candidates who may be weighing other offers.
If Airship values people as much as it seems to, ensuring a more thoughtful candidate experience would reflect that. The least they can do is send an automated rejection email, but not following up with candidates who put that much effort / time into their interview process shows the lack of respect Airship has for people. I am glad I did not get an offer considering that this seemed like a valid sign that this was not a good fit.
