I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Airbus (Bengaluru) in Feb 2021
Interview
I had big expectation with airbus' hiring process as it being a major in aerospace. But they proved me wrong, it was more like a startup's interview. Got the interview scheduled via a consultancy based on my naukri profile. HR scheduled the interview one day later instead of promised date by mistake and was asking if I am ok with it, when I called them. I went ahead and attended the interview. They recorded the meeting after consent and the interviewer was asking questions for name sake from the first and everything got completed in half hour. When I mailed them for feedback the next day, I just got reply that performance was negative.

Interview
After multiple technical and managerial assessments, it is unclear why the HR round repeats managerial-style or 'fitment' questions. The managerial panel had already given very positive feedback on the candidate’s performance across four rounds, so the HR round often feels unnecessary and redundant. If the final decision is primarily based on HR’s subjective fitment view, it raises questions about the purpose of the managerial evaluation. Unfortunately, internal politics and referrals also seem to influence the outcome
The technical interviews were very well done. The first involved pairing on a coding exercise that felt mostly practical which I appreciated. The second involved pairing on an actual code change that represented the kind of work you would actually do in the role.
