Agilent has a very structured, behavioral-based, mostly virtual approach to the interview process. Agilent is a matrix organization with a good number of remote workers making virtual the best approach. For me it started with an external recruiter screening, if you succeed here you are passed to the hiring manager for an initial screening. If you are successful here you are then scheduled with 'level 1' interviews with 3 - 5 peers and colleagues. I then circled back with the hiring manager for a check-in. I was then scheduled with 3 - 5 'level 2' interviews with were mostly senior leaders that you will be interacting with on a regular basis. This was followed by a final in person with the hiring manager. Although as a candidate it felt like a long process, it was the best organized and efficient of all interviews during my job search. First call to offer was about 8 weeks.
