      Vendor Management Interview

      18 Aug 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Medford, MA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Agero (Medford, MA) in Aug 2017

      Interview

Initial call about the position came about three weeks after I applied. Caught off guard initially because of the time span between application and initial call. Scheduled to come in for a 2-hour interview with several of the market managers. Interviewers were cordial and well prepared. Discussed mostly my experience in a previous role related to the position they had open. Questions related to maintaining a high level of capacity while keeping costs down and customer service up. Asked to do one simple math problem related calculating cost per call for the month. No real wrap up to the interview, just ended and was escorted to the reception area. Most of the staff I interacted with and observed seemed to be in the early to mid 30s.

      Question 1

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback around your experience. Although I am happy to hear the managers were welcoming and that you felt they were prepared, I am disappointed to hear about the lack of formal wrap up. Candidate Experience is super important at Agero and that extends from first contact to whenever the process closes for each individual. After taking several hours out of your day to join us to interview, my expectation is that the interviewing team takes the time to formally close out, answer any questions and most importantly set expectations around next steps. In the event you are unclear as to your status or have any questions, I would strongly encourage you to reach back out to your recruiting contact for feedback or request that your situation be escalated to me and I'd be happy to chat further.
