First interview with the recruiter, second interview with the tech lead. It seemed to go well - I was asked about ten or twelve programming / Unity questions and I complement the screening for being directly relevant to the job and not some hackerrank nonsense. Too many technical screenings seem to want algorithms professors instead of software developers and this is not one of those, so full marks for relevancy!
I missed I think two of the questions, but was able to learn them easily afterward. We chatted a little about bad games and about learning Japanese.
It ended ambiguously so I definitely didn’t get a feel one way or another, though I’m pretty sure I did well enough in the technical parts, if not perfect.
That was weeks ago and they ghosted me - at the very least I’d have appreciated a reason and what I could do to improve.
