I am quite disappointed with how the interview process was conducted. I had prepared extensively over three weeks, covering my resume, technical questions, and behavioral questions to ensure I was fully ready for this role. However, the interview felt disorganized and did not reflect the preparation I had put in.
The interviewer (HM) did not ask any behavioral questions, nor did it seem like they had reviewed my resume, as there were no questions about my past experiences or how they related to the role. Instead, the focus unexpectedly shifted to fixed income questions—such as defining duration—which seemed unrelated to the position I was applying for.
Additionally, the interview ended very abruptly, and I wasn’t given the opportunity to ask any questions, which is typically a standard part of the interview process. Overall, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional, which was disappointing given my genuine interest in the role and the effort I invested in preparing.
