I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Affirm (South San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
Interview was unorganized and embarrassing. No one was on the same page and probably how the company is operating. One team says one thing and the manager says another. Doesn't look like anyone wants to make the company a success and are only in it for the pay check. They need to revamp the operating team, seems like it's not efficient and a waste of money
Thanks so much for taking the time to provide your feedback. We strive to keep our interview process as organized and clear as possible, and are sorry to hear that your experience did not live up to these standards. Our team will make sure to evaluate the process moving forward to ensure we're providing a consistent and transparent interview experience for all candidates.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Affirm in Apr 2022
Interview
I completed a phone screening with the recruiter (30min), then was moved to a phone interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter was super friendly and thorough. The hiring manager struggled to define the role as he himself was new to his role (lesss than 6mo).
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Affirm (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2020
Interview
Very standard process. Had a phone screening with the recruiter. The next round consisted with a call with the hiring manager. Due to COVID-19, my onsite was via zoom with panel of 5 people from the team that lasted about 3 hours. Overall the process was super smooth. My recruiter was super helpful and always kept me in the loop during the whole process. The whole thing took about 3 weeks.

Question 1
Explain a situation that influenced a process change and how did you go about proposing it?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Affirm

The Senior Business recuriter emailed me twice in two days to schedule and interview and when I finally did, she confirmed but never called. I figured since she didnt even send me a calednar invite, she would forget. Nor did she reschedule after another email exchange. Its a hassle having to find a private space at work to interview and the recruiter doesnt even bother to call. Usauly when companies do this they lack proffesionalism and any value for a future employee. Train your recruiters to be more proffesional, so that they can leave with a better impression of the company regardless of getting a job offer.
