      Game Master Interview

      30 May 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Berlin
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aeria Games in May 2013

      Interview

One of the girls in HR contacted me for the initial interview by phone. I came in and was quickly seen by two guys, each from a different area of the company. I thought it went well, and the next day I was invited to a second interview. This was a two-part interview, first with Renza and the second part with two more people from other areas again. I left optimistic, but didn't get an offer for the job or a third interview. I eventually got a response to my follow-up email saying they had filled the position internally. I thought Game Master was an entry-level position? Yeah, okay.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aeria Games (Berlin) in Oct 2014

      Interview

It involved 3 stages- phone, skype, and in-person- with various positions in the company. Skype and in-person interviews were with team leads interested in having me on the team. Questions focused more on personality than skills as it was an entry-level position, with an emphasis on they why instead of what. (e.g. "What would you do in this situation" and then as a follow up, "okay, so why was this your approach?)

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aeria Games (Berlin) in Oct 2013

      Interview
