Really friendly and welcoming set up from the recruitment consultant start to finish, started off with a phone interview, was a quick response ( same day applied ) next step was following day- I was giving a tour of Aegon at Lochside Crescent ( Beautiful tranquil building ) I was then brought to the interviewers and asked very fair competency based questions, this possessed a really friendly and understanding vibe and was able to feel confident with most of the Q's - both interviewers great to speak with, had a superb experience regardless of outcome. Robust interview with typical customer service questions. However, does not give an indication to the difficultly of the job, nor highlights how finance focused the role is. However, overall a great interview from a customer service viewpoint.

Interview
MS Teams interview with an interviewer and a note taker, who did the role play. Usual job background and competency questions. It is Aegon, rather than the third party resources they use, ATOS. Usual age discrimination- rejected for insufficient competency answers to cover. While working elsewhere in Edinburgh, Aegon always got the worst comment about customer services. Too clever for them as I covered both the requirements and desirable skills. They will employ a bunch of youngsters with Highers and wonder why their productivity is poor.
