      Group Project Manager Interview

      8 Jul 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aegon (London, England)

      Interview

Online call with two senior managers. Both asked the usual competency questions. Having been working for 15 plus years. I was surprised that one of the managers spent an inordinate amount of time grilling my degree choices. Surely it was more pertinent to ask questions relevant to the position and my recent experience. There was a lack of engagement with both managers to build a rapport. They came across as both disinterested and bored. I am thankful I did not get invited further as I would not have gone as I would have thought, being the first point of contact for the company they should portray the company values! Interview lasted one hour.
