Interview
Came in for a scheduled interview. Interviews were lined up back to back for the day. Filled out a lengthy physical application, met with the Recruiter prior to meeting with the Health Services Director for a quick Q&A/preparation for interview. Met with the Health Services Director and she asked me a few questions based on my work experience. After the interview, she offered the job, asked me if I would like to move forward and proceed with the hiring process. After meeting with the HSD, I met with the Recruiter to complete any necessary paperwork regarding next steps.

Simple, applied online. Contacted by HSD directly and had one interview. Very common questions such as why are you interested, what experience, pt scenario questions…I only interviewed with my direct supervisor but I know some other nurses that had to interview with the general manager. It just depends on the location.

Interview
First, I was contacted by a recruiter - he helped me understand the role and did the initial interview with basic questions like, “Why do you want to work for Aegis” and other generic questions. Then, I had an in-person interview with the manager for the position. She wanted to know about my background and experience, but was especially interested in understanding what drove my desire to fill this positions and get a better feel for my philosophy on nursing and caregiving in the elderly population.

Why do you want to work with Aegis specifically. What drew you to apply for this role with Aegis?
I applied and received an email for an interview 6 hours later. The recruiter called me and asked a few basic questions. Very prompt and timely with her follow-up emails and phone call. I was called in for an interview in person the same day.
