1st round with manager - great interview, conversation.
2nd round - phone interview with Recruiter. Took forever to schedule with multiple cancellations on their end, without any notice. Recruiter also seemed to be unaware of answers to basic benefits questions.
3rd round - case study to be presented to 2 interviewers. Once again rescheduled with less than 12 hrs notice. Interview itself went okay. But process ended here.

Question 1
If we have issues post implementation, who do we contact?
Overall great interview experience. The recruiter was very responsive and transparent and had a decision for me within 24h after each round. I had 5 official rounds but 6 calls as on the penultimate stage the in-person interviewer didn't ring in the remote interviewer. Honest mistake but could have been easily avoided. They were apologetic about it.
Nothing too obscure in terms of requirements - recruiter screen, peer interview, case study presented to team leads, country manager & department head interview and finally SVP/exec level. The case study was lower lift than others I've done which I appreciated - around 25min to present but still assessed key competencies & knowledge. The whole process from 1st call to offer took about 5.5 weeks over the Christmas break.
Key here is to read, understand and imbue the Adyen formula into your conversations and examples.

Question 1
What attracted you about the company & role, situational examples, live problem solving, professional aspirations etc.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen (Sydney) in Jul 2023
Interview
6 stages of interview (from application to offer)
1. HR Screening
2. Hiring Manager interview
3. Functional interview assessment (choice between 2 tasks, with an online submission)
4. Functional interview presentation (role-play kick off meeting)
5. Meet a member of the local Leadership team
6. Meet a member of the global Leadership team
The process is lengthy, but gives the candidate an opportunity to (i) meet with their potential co-workers, (ii) assess functional fit, and (iii) see if their values align with those of leadership/company strategy.
Pros:
- Opportunity to meet your potential coworkers and leadership before starting (this is important for me because I've found in the past only meeting a Hiring Manager doesn't always give you an accurate picture of the actual internal culture vs branding);
- Thorough process to help you decide whether this company is right for you culturally, and whether it fits your way of working
Cons:
- The actual time it takes to go from application to offer (I don't have a solution for shortening the timeframe though :/)

Question 1
Every stage of the process, someone asked 'what challenges do you foresee in this role'.
I applied online. I interviewed at Adyen in Jan 2023
Interview
I did an early stage interview of 30 minutes and the day after they sent me an "automatic response" email telling me that my CV does not fit with the position (as if I was in an earlier stage). They did not even consider sending me the right e-mail regarding to the stage of the process I was or thanking me for taking the time and effort to do the interview. I replied them saying that they might have sent me the wrong text and after that I got no reply.
