I was really unimpressed by this interview. I was asked maybe two or three questions and the interviewer, spent the rest of the time talking, ostensibly about the job but I knew what I was applying for and it seemed like a waste of my time. He also made a few passing comments that betrayed a conservative political position and seemed suspicious of my having a nickname (transvestigating?). I said I like sleep science because I am naturally nocturnal which he said wasn't a real thing which seems ill informed for the manager of sleep clinic. And also that he hated working nights because he could never adapt for 20 years immediately afterwards, like huh wonder what it's like to not be able to adapt your natural sleep cycle. Honestly thought I might get this and have to turn it down given I had zero opportunity to say the wrong thing but was not given an offer. Oh well. Job was pretty unappealing, part time and no benefits. I'm transitioning into healthcare and it seems like what they say about incompetence in administration is as true from the inside as the outside.
