Initial call with the hiring manager and then had a 1.5-hour call. Looking for a very specific person. Upon reading reviews, I have seen numerous people who completed over 6 hours of interviews and received no offer. They told me they selected someone else and have proceeded to repost the job posting several times since. Pay is below average as well.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate the time and effort candidates invest in our interview process. We’ve taken feedback to heart and our interviews are not as lengthy as they may have been in the past. That said, we remain intentional in our process to ensure a strong mutual fit with individuals who align closely with our values.
Our Advisor-in-Training role is an entry level position with a clear path toward becoming a full Advisor. While the starting compensation reflects a training role, there is a significant increase in pay as individuals grow into becoming an Advisor.
We understand that our process may not be the right fit for everyone, and while we occasionally repost roles to ensure the best possible match, we remain deeply appreciative of every candidate's interest.
The first round of interviews was a standard phone screen that probably only took 15 minutes max but the second round of interviews was quite long (1.5 hours) and didn't seem worth the time. They want to get to know you on a deeper level but it felt hard to get to know them - felt like a one sided expectation. Talked a lot about their core values - it's a certain atmosphere that's definitely not for everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand that a longer second-round interview may not be for everyone. Our goal is to ensure a strong fit for both parties, and part of that includes diving deeper into our core values and culture. That said, we recognize the importance of a two-way conversation and will take your feedback to help improve the experience for future candidates.
