Phone interview, invited to interview in person. Arrived ten minutes early to a haphazardly organized pharmacy. One pharmacist and one technician had called out. I was handed over to the other technicians who had me shadow them. Finally able to interview, it was conducted by the technicians. The pharmacist said she was listening. Pharmacist ordering baked goods during interview seemed more important to her than filling the position. Was told at the end of this odyssey, that I would receive a phone call one way or the other, in a week. After ten days, no phone call. I contacted HR via the toll free number. Woman who answered was very kind but had the attitude, that I should know what's up if they've ghosted me. She took my information and said someone from the recruiting team would be emailing me. Four days later, no email, either.
I feel that they are only going through the motions for HR and not really looking to hire anyone. My suspicion is they're not hiring to ensure the other technicians get fulltime/overtime.
I may not be a doctor or pharmacist but I am still an educated and trained professional. I've been treated with more respect interviewing for counter help at an ice cream store.
