Contacted by recruiter and attended their general recruitment process.
(1st interview)
The first session was to introduce culture, value and vision of the advantech.
Second part of the group interview was separated according to job function.
Inside the group interview there was only one easy coding question, and rest of time was brief introduction about background and project that we attended before.
You could determine that some of the managers do care about there team and would like to make the team better by apply different SE process, though some of the managers don't even care about your background and just want you to fit there value.
(2nd interview)
The second round interview was conducted by the boss of the manager in 1st round.
He asked a lot of questions focus on personal background such as what do your parents do, why you choose to study outside of your home town.
His talk also revealed that his value towards sw, ux and pm.
He respected pm and thought that sw was very easy to train. He had no idea about why company hire ux.
I didn't feel good at this part.
Their salary is in fixed range according to your education level only, there is no room for negotiation.
Overall, the team would be great to work with since the team lead works hard to improve the development process and the his boss would not directly interact with the team, but the salary is not competitive.
