I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions (Pikeville, KY) in Feb 2014
Interview
My hiring and interview process was incredibly fast. I applied one night and about 2 days later I got a call from my recruiter. At first I was annoyed and turned off by his unprofessionalism, and the fact that I was told I had not applied for the job, but had actually only created a profile. I ignored his request to go in and apply for a week until I got another call from the same guy (different state; slightly shady), and this time he was more enjoyable to talk to and gave me a ton of helpful tips when applying for the job. Once I did that I called him back (his suggestion), and he interviewed me right then and there and moved me on to the hiring manager of my area. He was so nice and helpful, and was the driving force behind me getting hired for this position. My supervisor gave me a call 2 days later and then 10 min later I had the job. It took about a week to get me "on-boarded" and I couldn't be happier with how nice everyone has been. My supervisor is really sweet and very down to earth. So far so good.

First discussion was with a recruiter via phone. They gave more details about the job and explained the interview process. The recruiter kept in contact via email to schedule the interview. A few weeks later the Field Supervisor called to interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions (Fort Wayne, IN) in Jul 2014
Interview
Interview was virtually non-existent. The area supervisor told me what area was open. It is about 35 miles from where I live (one way). I'll give it a month or so, but with the price of gasoline, and no mileage reimbursement, hopefully something closer might open up in a few weeks.
