I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Adrok (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Jul 2017
Interview
Face-to-face interview with the owner of the company. Read my CV and asked some behavioural questions. Gave me a tour at the offices and briefly described what they do. He was very judgemental and tried to read my expressions, lecturing me on what he thought it was not correct. Very bad attitude. Never got back to me up even though I said 3 emails for feedback/reply. At last, I called to find out what's going on and he said, that they were not looking for a person (there was no ad, it was an open application, but he clearly stated that they would hire someone in the interview). Absolute non-sense.

Question 1
If I gave you 5000 GBP would you go out of this interview?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Adrok
Interview
I applied via LinkedIn and received a message from the hiring manager in about a week. In the message, the hiring manager expressed being impressed with my background and requested a few dates and times for a 30 to 45-minute call. I confirmed that I would send an email to the provided address, specifying both dates and times that I would be available. However, nearly two weeks passed without any response from the hiring manager, neither via email nor on LinkedIn.
When I followed up on LinkedIn, asking for feedback, I was informed that they had been waiting for the email I had promised to send. I promptly re-sent the email. The manager replied, asking if I had a UK work permit, to which I confirmed that I did. Then, I was asked once again if I had time for a Teams call. In response, I explained that I wouldn't be available for two weeks due to travel commitments and requested more information about the position and the remuneration package.
The manager's response was a brief statement: "It depends on your skill level and work experience." Seeking further clarity and reminding the manager that my CV had been provided, I once again requested additional information. However, the final email from the manager accused me of being very pushy and rude.

Question 1
Can you share a few dates and times that would work for a 30 to 45-minute call?
Misha, we are sorry you feel this way. However, you cannot expect to transmit rude messages to the CEO of a company you are seeking work from and expect to appear angelic. We have a strong pool of candidates apply to our company over the past few weeks. We wish you well in your search for work.
