Adjust PostgreSQL Database Administrator interview questions

I went through the first interview. They wanted to carry on with the next step (Take Home Task) which had to be done in 3 business days. Although position title 's DBA, task was not a DBA task. It was rather a developer task. I assumed they are looking to see the algorithms, I worked on the tasked. According to task definitions (method and language was set free)I completed everything. However my solution is not accepted. 2 issues; 1- Inadequate process stole my time in the middle of the week ( I should add, 1 hour before the first meeting they e-mailed me to delay the meeting for 30 minutes. How professional) Even though I informed them I am not a developer, they were seeking for a developer with DBA title. 2- Job description, was not consistent with the title. Caring nothing about DBA skills, you can't hire DBA. To sum up, I was not expecting an offer. I was expecting not to be a candidate at the first place considering I already stated why they should not evaluate me for a position, obviously I am not fit for.
